I am Andrew and thanks for stopping by and wanting to learn more about me.

Having made my first online sale over a quarter of a century ago (oh that makes me feel so old), you could say I am somewhat of a veteran when it comes to selling online.

That first online sale was way back in 1992 – it was a world time zone app that I had made for the Psion 3 palmtop device. I’ll never forget the buzz I felt when I got that notification saying that I had made a sale. All those hours of learning and coding had paid finally paid off. Then when the other orders came rolling in, it made it really worth it!

During the late 1990s, the internet started to grow and in 1999 I opened my first standalone eCommerce site (it was a postal balloon delivery business). That first eCommerce website took about 6 months to build. I had already learned HTML (the code required to build websites), but back in those days, there were no ready-made eCommerce platforms like you get today. So I had to build it from scratch and that meant learning how to write code (to the techies out there I used Perl)

Over the years I have created many eCommerce stores, mainly for my own use.

At the very outset, in 1999, I made a promise to myself that I wanted my online business to be a lifestyle business that allowed me to see my family grow up and be able to attend the sports days, the parent/teacher meetings, pick my kids up from school and be there for them. I could have scaled my eCommerce businesses and have a multi-million turnover, but I would have broken that ONE promise I had made to myself, my family came first! 

Now my children are growing up it is now time to share my knowledge with you and help you understand how to run an online eCommerce lifestyle business that will allow you to provide an income whilst allowing you to enjoy your family life.
